Issue 309 The Paregien Journal November 02, 2015 Stan Paregien Sr., Editor
Peggy and I spent a wonderful week in Sedona, Arizona on Oct. 11 through Oct. 18th. We stayed with Bradenton friends Don and Judy Betts in their rented condo at The Ridge at Sedona Golf Resort. For some ten years or so, Don and Judy have spent about two or three weeks each year at Sedona. They are enamored with the beautiful canyons, mesas and colorful rock formations.
We had previously spent only about three hours in Sedona, and that many years ago, just rambling around. Still, we thought then and know for sure now that this really is an amazingly beautiful area. From here on, though, I’m pretty much going to let our photographs speak for themselves.
No, that is not a big rose tatoo of some sort on Judy’s arm. The color came from Don’s sunglasses which he has in his right hand.

The sign says, “We are so old and fragile, please don’t hurt us by climbing on us. And just take our picture, no pieces of us.” The sign referred to the ancient rocks, but Don and Judy apparently thought it referred to them (see below).
So ended our day, Oct. 13, 2015, at sunset overlooking the enchanting little city of Sedona, Arizona.
However, there is much more to be seen when we continue with “Time Out for Arizona, Part 2.”
We will get back to “Marco Rubio, Part 2” in a couple of weeks or so, if all goes well.
