Stan’s Potpourri

by Stan Paregien Sr.

Good morning:

I have been culturally deprived for the last three days. Sad but true. We were among some 75,000 AT&T U-verse (internet & TV) subscribers whose service was interrupted . . . not for a couple of hours, not for a whole afternoon or even 24 hours . . . but for three long, tranquil and productive days. Hmmmmm. Maybe we could get along without the TV and the internet long-term. Maybe?

Nah. Can’t do it. Wouldn’t be American. Still . . .

Anyway, just wanted to let you know the latest issue of THE PAREGIEN JOURNAL is now available for you to read at .

Stan's Potpourri for Jan. 21, 2013
Stan’s Potpourri for Jan. 21, 2013

Among other things, it contains information about the passing of such personalities as actors Charles Durning (a WW 2 hero), Jack Klugman, and Harry Carey, Jr. And there’s info about county music star Aaron Watson and former University of Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones, and about the passing of our friend Robert H. Rowland (educator, author & preacher) at the age of 86.

See ya next time.
